VIDEO DEPOSITIONS
We arrive fully equipped to record a clean, stable record—professional image, intelligible sound, and minimal footprint.Standard deposition setup includes:
- Up to four (4) individual lavalier microphones (typically sufficient for one witness and up to three attorneys)
- A neutral black or white backdrop for the primary subject, when appropriate
- A self-contained kit operated discreetly and professionally
ACCESS
Videographer requires access to the deposition location no less than sixty (60) minutes prior to the scheduled start time for equipment placement, audio verification, and final readiness.The location must:
- Be under cover, and
- Provide reasonable proximity to standard electrical power sources.
DELIVERABLES
Deliverables are provided in the formats you select:
Video: .mov, .mp4, DVD
Audio: .aif, .mp3, .wav
Standard turnaround: 7–10 business days from the date of deposition.
Expedited turnaround: 3–5 business days, available upon request and subject to scheduling.
Video Deposition Rates and Hours
- Appearance fee: $325 (minimum applies)
- Hourly rate: $115 per hour, billed for each hour or any portion thereof
Demonstrative Evidence Production & Other Projects
- Bookings are scheduled Monday to Friday from 8AM to 6PM Monday to Friday as:
- Half-day: up to five (5) hours
- Full-day: up to ten (10) hours
- Minimum booking: half-day
- Overtime: billed at time-and-a-half at an equivalent rate of $250 per hour
- All demonstrative and production work is estimated case-by-case based on scope, complexity, and deadlines.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Video Depositions
Cancellations made less than three (3) business days prior to the scheduled deposition date will be billed the minimum appearance fee of $325. No cancellation fee applies when cancellation is received seven (7) or more business days in advance and confirmed in writing.
Demonstrative & Legal Video Production
Cancellations made within three (3) business days of the scheduled shoot date will be billed at the full booked rate. No cancellation fee applies when written notice is received ten (10) or more business days prior to the shoot date and confirmed in writing.
PAYMENT
Invoices are due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed in writing. Published rates are cash rates. We prefer Zelle and also accept Venmo, Cash App, and major credit cards. Payments made via Venmo, Cash App, or credit card are subject to a 3.75% processing fee, added to the total balance due. First-time clients: are C.O.D. (due upon completion).
STORAGE
Digital Pictures will retain one digital copy of delivered media at no charge for up to one (1) year. While we maintain reasonable archival practices, Digital Pictures assumes no liability for loss of media for any reason whatsoever, including but not limited to corruption, hardware failure, or third-party service interruption.
