Experience is a luxury. I’ve been told I have good stories so I’m going to start telling them. It’s time to offer the authenticity that comes from beginning in the film era, share what I’ve learned, and document my personal modes of seeing: the adventures, the discipline, and the results.
I’ll be sounding off on current topics and conversations, some of which not everyone will agree with. I’ll also feature guests who are committed to the art and craft of photography.
One recurring subject will be how the digital era is shaping photography and why so many people with no foundation are quick to call themselves “photographers.”
We now have a slew of people who’ve purchased technology that allows them to “express themselves” by taking pictures and video, with occasional success.

PS — I’m looking for photographically suitable subjects to collaborate in a process of individual art expression.
It will require two to three hours, and you should expect to end up completely wet. Interested? Go to this web page.
